Big Sandy Park

Big Sandy Park is located in Farson on Highway 28. Travel Highway 191 North to Farson, Wyoming. Park is located 1 mile east on Highway 28 (across from the Farson School).

Crossroads West Park

744 Gookin-White Mountain Road, Rock Springs. From Foothill Boulevard take Clearview Drive to White Mountain Road. Park features playground equipment, 2 softball fields, 2 soccer fields, 3 horseshoe pits, 1 group picnic shelter and chemical toilets.

Pioneer Trails Picnic Grounds

Pioneer Trails Picnic Grounds is located in a beautiful location along the Green River, North of Green River on County Road 68. Take Highway 372 North to County Road 68 till you reach the picnic area. The 52 acre park features 3 group picnic shelters, 20 picnic tables, 3 restrooms, playground equipment, nature trails, 3 volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits.

Reliance Park

North of Rock Springs, on Highway 191 North take the Reliance Exit. Continue on the main road for 2.3 miles. The park is located behind the Reliance School Building. Park features include 3 shelters, playground equipment, 4 horseshoe pits, 1 softball field, 2 tennis courts and 2 restrooms.

Sweetwater County Picnic Grounds

Located five miles west of Green River taking Highway 374. Park features include playground equipment, 13 horseshoe pits, youth fishing pond, boat ramp, 1 volleyball court, 4 group picnic shelters and 2 chemical toilets.

Arrowhead Springs Park

Arrowhead Springs Park is located at 40 Warbonnet Road. From Rock Springs take Highway 430 to County Road 4-27 at the Phosphate Plant. Travel 4 miles on 4027 to the Arrowhead Springs Subdivision. The park is accessed through the subdivision. The park is open year round. Reservations are not accepted.

Bicentennial Park

Bicentennial Park is located in Eden, Wyoming (36 miles North of Rock Springs on Highway 191) The park has a large playground and several picnic tables.

Mesa Park

Mesa Park is located North of Rock Springs between Gannet Drive and Quadrant Drive. Take Yellowstone road to Gannet Drive.

Shooting Ranges

Archery Range

The Sweetwater County Archery Range features archery target shooting and temporary restrooms. The Archery Range is located south of I-80 on the Little Firehole Road. Take 191 South at Exit 99, travel 4 miles and turn west on Little Firehole Road. Travel approximately 2 miles to the range. The range will be located on the left.

Shooting Range

The Sweetwater County Shooting Sports Complex is located South of Rock Springs. From I-80 take Exit 99 to Highway 191 South. Travel 4 miles and turn west on Little Firehole Road. Travel 4 miles to the range. The Shooting Sports Complex features 1 - 500 yard and 2 - 200 yard shooting lanes with 12 shooting benches and target stands. Trap Club

The Sweetwater County Trap Club is located at 655 Gookin - White Mountain Road, West of Rock Springs past Clearview Acres. The trap club will open Sundays from noon to 5 pm and Wednesdays from 5 pm to 8 pm, weather permitting.
