The ability to decipher clues and develop reasonable conclusions is pivotal to survival. In a twist on our popular Outdoor Skills camp, a mysterious character and video clues will introduce our topic of the day. Participants will have to solve a mystery to locate necessary equipment to carry out our planned activity. Our week will still contain plenty of basic survival and recreational skills like geocaching, compass skills, setting up a campsite, foraging and cooking over a campfire. Special guest, arborist Joshua Tree will harness and allow 3rd-5th children to reach the tree canopy during an a.m. session. *Campers in grades 6 and up will go on a hike on the Appalachian Trail and visit Lehigh Gap Nature Center. Location: Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus, PA 18049
