Description

Have you ever wondered what you and your family would do if lost in the wilderness?  Zach Fisher, a Licensed NYS Guide is providing a family day focusing on the essential skills one should know should they find themselves lost in a wilderness situation. This one day program will focus on primitive and modern survival skills as well as how to increase your chances of being found by a rescue crew. Skills will include: Fire building and starting (primitive and modern), knife safety and usage, shelter building, finding and purifying water, basic first aid, nature awareness and observation, etc. The day will consist of games and demonstrations to make it both fun and educational.
