Saftey Town Camper
Students are taught how to create safe situations for themselves in everyday life. There will be trips to police and fire departments, visits by professionals and different fun-filled experiences for the students. The staff will instruct students about safety around the home, fire safety, how to make 911 emergency telephone calls and other invaluable safety lessons. The program for students entering Kindergarten in the Fall, will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Safety Town Volunteer
As a Safety Town instructor you must commit to volunteering for all camps days from Monday, June 29th through Thursday, July 9th from 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM. Volunteer’s responsibilities include working with kindergarten-aged children each and every day. There will be one or two children assigned to you. Safety Town is held at Ben Franklin Elementary School. Volunteers must be entering 7th grade-12th-grade fall of 2020. There will be a MANDATORY information meeting in June. The date will be announced shortly. You MUST attend this meeting as this is where we assign instructors to children and set up Safety Town.
